Conclusion:

Eventhough the sellers claim Acai Power Max to be a full weight loss aid, the product is unlikely to yield expected results due to its weak weight loss properties. Yes, I have been caught in the “Free Trial Scam” even though I returned the free trial sample within 2 days of reciept and cancelled any future supplies having been advisd not to take the pills because of a medical condition I have. I now find that in addition to the post & packing charge I HAVE BEEN CHARDED £69.00 SUBSCRIPTION WHICH THEY REFUSE TO RETURN
They say I should have read the “terms & conditions” Can anyone tell me where they are? They’re not in the advert or subsequent order form as far as I can see. All I can say is steer cleer of this company and its products.

  • titch says:

Yes this is a scam, credit card details are sent to other companies who debit your card for their products which you never ordered and dont want.

  • titch says:

Yes it is a scam, the term and conditions are so well hidden, also no price is shown on website and a lot of people have been caught out. Once they have your card details, they continue to send out products at regular intervals and debit your card.

  • michy says:

This is a phishing site. They take your details and you never receive the product. I have cancelled immediately my card and hope that others will take note of this and will not be hacked by this site.

    Shame on YOU site owners!

  • Sharon says:

Yes, interestingly the “blogger” who advocates this doesn’t actually tell you HOW she lost the weight or how it worked in conjunction with her diet. if you want to lose weight, go on a proper low fat calorie calorie controlled diet (with exercise), and it will happen!

My wife made me try this before I gave up on the gym about three months ago and I’m really glad she did. I was only losing about 2 pounds a month by working out and eating mostly as I should. After I started taking acai berry things spead up a lot and now I’m losing about 7 pounds a month, totally worth all of the effort.

  • Lesley says:

I signed up for free trial, then tried to cancel within 10 day limit but the phone number provided was ‘dead’ and there was no email address to be found to cancel. I therefore had to cancel my card to (hopefully) prevent them from taking any more payments, although I will still have to check as they may automatically get my new card details. They have already taken the initial postage-only trial payment at more than the guaranteed maximum cost of £2.59 – twice! Don’t touch their site.

i got scammed, didnt see terms and conditions til after gave my card details. recieved goods 17 days later and cancelled, was then told if they dont recieve the pills back by end of 21 days from when i ordered would be billed a further £75, took me 6 days to get a returns number off them, think they took time just so that they could say i took too long and they could bill me. luckly though i cancelled my card the day the products arrives by which time they had still not even taken the postage and packaging charge, but i still check my account evety day…. now i am being naughty and scamming the scammers, i trying the full product with out returning…. they cant take any money off me so why not… and if i feel some benefits then i will buy the products and my local holland and barrets shop… where they are much cheaper anyway
